Velera Announces Final Lineup and Events for VeleraLIVE 2025

Velera – formerly PSCU/Co-op Solutions, has announced the final keynote speakers and programming for VeleraLIVE 2025, taking place April 14-16 in Denver at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center.

Marking the first year for the event, VeleraLIVE will serve as the company’s new combined annual conference following the retirement of PSCU’s Member Forum and Co-op Solutions’ THINK Conference. Final keynote speakers for the 2025 event include:

  • Steve Brown, artificial intelligence (AI) expert and futurist, who will explain AI in accessible terms, demonstrate its latest capabilities and explain how both companies and individuals alike can better prepare for AI in his keynote address, “AI Insights: Today’s Capabilities and Tomorrow’s Potential.” With a 25-year career in AI and technology, including roles as senior director and in-house futurist at Google DeepMind, as well as chief evangelist and futurist at Intel, Brown is an expert on generative AI, autonomous agents and digital transformation. He aims to share winning AI strategies that advance innovation, boost productivity and drive growth.

  • Erik Weihenmayer, an accomplished climber, paraglider, skier and kayaker, who never allows blindness to interfere with his passion for pursuing an exhilarating and fulfilling life despite losing his vision at age 14. In addition to being a renowned explorer, Weihenmayer is a celebrated author and co-founder of No Barriers USA, a nonprofit organization that helps people of diverse abilities develop a No Barriers Mindset – to attack challenges head on, problem solve, build winning teams and serve others. In his keynote, “No Barriers,” Weihenmayer will help attendees understand how to harness the power of adversity as fuel for greatness.

Velera is also pleased to share details on two panels tackling topics that are driving the credit union and payments industries:

  • Financial services veteran Mark Sievewright, founder of Sievewright & Associates, an SRM company, will serve as moderator of the Credit Union Executive Panel, leading credit union CEOs in a discussion of some of the most important trends impacting credit unions and their members

  • The PYMNTS Panel will highlight the recently launched PYMNTS.com/Velera research study, “Roadmap to 2030: The Seven Strategic Planks for Credit Unions to Capture Top of Mind.” Hosted by Velera EVP, Chief Growth Officer Brian Scott, this panel will include Karen Webster, CEO of PYMNTS.com, and Denise Stevens, EVP, chief product officer of Velera.

This programming is in addition to an already impressive lineup previously announced for VeleraLIVE 2025, including closing keynote speakers Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith. The highly anticipated event is rounded out by nearly 20 breakout sessions designed to provide attendees with timely insights and thought leadership from industry experts on trending topics, as well as the Solution Showcase, which will include interactive demonstrations of Velera’s innovative product and solution portfolio.

“Set against a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, VeleraLIVE 2025 invites attendees – from credit union professionals to industry partners and other key stakeholders – to come together to discover insights and share ideas as we look to the future with ‘Velocity for a New Era,’” said Velera EVP, Chief Service Officer Dean Young. “We look forward to seeing everyone in Denver this spring.”

General registration for VeleraLIVE is available through March 14 at 5 p.m. ET. For more details or to register, visit the VeleraLIVE 2025 event page
