Three Credit Unions Announced New Hires; Financial Advisor at Centra Financial Services Named a “Women of Distinction”

Three credit unions, including Citadel Credit Union and Shelby County Federal Credit Union announced changes to their leadership, and a financial advisor at Centra Financial Services was recognized as a “Women of Distinction.”

New Hires

  • Citadel Credit Union is pleased to take a significant step forward in its long-term growth strategy, introducing new leadership for its Commercial Banking team and a reinforced commitment to providing cutting-edge financial solutions for businesses across the Greater Philadelphia region. To lead the Commercial Banking team, Citadel has appointed Thomas "Tom" Sebok as Chief Commercial Banking Officer.

  • As part of its ongoing commitment to creating a culture of growth and development, PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union (PAHO/WHO FCU) has appointed Michael Ray, Vice President of Organizational Development. The appointment marks a significant step in the credit union’s ongoing initiative to prioritize talent retention and career progression for its employees.

  • ViClarity announced the appointment of Katie Ferrell and Koral Hull to key roles within the fast-growing regtech and compliance consulting firm’s executive bench.

    • Katie Ferrell, ViClarity VP of Compliance Services: Joining ViClarity from United Bankers’ Bank in Minnesota, Ferrell will serve as Vice President, Compliance Services. Ferrell’s well-rounded governance, risk and compliance (GRC) background spans all manner of functions, from compliance consulting to audits and risk assessments. She has dedicated her career to financial services, beginning with her role as head teller for a Mississippi commercial bank in 2003. Since that time, Ferrell has held a variety of positions within the bank and credit union GRC space, fostering what she describes as a holistic, yet practical, approach to the alignment of risk and strategy.

    • Koral Hull, ViClarity VP of Sales & Marketing: Assuming the role of Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Hull joins ViClarity from Pitchly, where she served most recently as head of operations. Having discovered her talent for optimizing processes as an electromechanical technician in the United States Air Force, Hull has spent the last 15 years building on that foundation over a series of challenging roles. In addition to mastering the enhancement of workflows, she is also an established contributor to the improvement of client value and experience, working with a variety of teams to make it easier, more efficient and more enjoyable to engage with tech-based products. As such, she is an ideal fit for ViClarity’s strategic growth and client experience initiatives.

  • Shelby County Federal Credit Union is ushering in a new era of leadership and financial stability under the direction of newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Raffael (Ralph) Crockett. With over three decades of credit union experience and a proven track record of transformational leadership, Crockett has strategically assembled a powerhouse leadership team to elevate the institution's financial performance, member experience, and community impact. As part of his vision for transformation, Crockett has appointed key leaders to help drive operational excellence:

    • Keith Watson, Vice President of Lending and Collections – Focused on expanding loan accessibility, responsible lending practices, and ensuring financial security for members.

  • Crystal Rickard, a financial advisor with Centra Financial Services located at Centra Credit Union, has been named a “Women of Distinction” – a recognition which honors female financial advisors for their superior performance and extraordinary efforts in promoting financial security. The Women of Distinction recognition is presented by TruStage to top female advisors across the broker-dealer operation. Candidates are selected based on criteria including annual performance metrics and quality of service to clients.
